Meet Dr. Klein

John W. Klein, M.D., is a comprehensive ophthalmology physician with a sub-specialty in Cataract & Refractive Eye Surgery. He practices out of the Klein Eye Center.

Dr. Klein became an ophthalmologist because he loves helping people and making them happy. He finds great joy in improving his patients’ vision and cherishes the relationships he builds with them along the way. Known for his approachable and easygoing nature, he values the personal connections he builds with his patients, something they really love about him.

A rural upbringing taught Dr. Klein to appreciate life’s simple pleasures. Outside the office, he enjoys hunting, fishing, flying his plane, and cheering on his Fightin’ Texas Aggies.

Faith and family are at the heart of his life. He is a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and participates in Mission Cataract USA, providing free cataract surgeries to those in need. 

He is married to his wife, Jessica, and has five children and four grandchildren he absolutely adores.
